Abstract: This study is considered a new page in a series of studies of eloquent Arabic dialects which are part of new research topics in Modern Linguistics. A study of the ancient Arab dialects contributes to drawing a more comprehensive perception of the linguistic geographical distribution of our Arabic Language. It is our ambition to encompass this affluent linguistic legacy in an attempt to fulfill what Abu Umr Ibn Al Ala pointed out centuries ago, “ What you already have of the Arabic language is so meager compared to the hidden wealth which, if uncovered would found abundant with science and poetry.” One distinct feature of the study of dialects is that it does not only render an explanation of some vocal uniqueness in modern oral dialects, but it also helps in the shedding light on the bizarre and odd recitations of the Quranic so as to clarify them. This study seeks to trace back the dialect of Bani Salim, a tribe which is considered the largest curia of Qays tribe in population. This tribe was distinguished from Qays in particular and the Arabs in general for its special vocal, grammatical, rhetorical and semantic features. The study aims at tracing this dialect in literary and linguistics books and dictionaries in order to carry out a thorough and comprehensive linguistic analysis at the vocal, grammatical, rhetorical and semantic levels.en_US
