While no complete Vessels were recovered from either of the excavated squares, the ceramic finds included Early Islamic, Crusader, Ayyubed and Mamluk shreds . Most of the pottery came from fills (see Nashef in this volume, Arabic section pp. 23-25). There appear to have been more than one floor belonging to the Early Islamic periods (Figs. 1-2) , sealed by foundation floors related to the medieval period (Figs 3-6). The catalogue of pottery presented below indicates to occupational phases of the excavated Area and represents a preliminary selection of pottery types in use at the site .en_US
